What is Digital Handshake?
Digital Handshake is a standards-based electronic signature solution that allows financial institutions, government agencies, and corporate departments to eliminate dependency on physical paper, wet signatures and manual routing procedures.

Banksign is a variant of DHS that allows financial service providers to improve their handling of cash movement instructions for clients. Using the system, an account manager prepares bank payment instructions using a simple Web form; the system then enforces a pre-arranged workflow to have the form approved by the authorised signatories for that client (both internal and external). Notified by e-mail, the signatories sign the approval via a secure website using non-forgeable digital certificates. When complete, the cash movement instruction is automatically forwarded to the relevant bank and archived in a tamperproof vault.
